My name is Brad. I’ve been serving as a school trustee in Hanover since 2014, in the Steinbach Ward. My wife and I both work in Steinbach and both of our children go to school here as well. I have been employed as a funeral director at Birchwood Funeral Chapel since 2008.
It has been a humbling experience serving as a trustee the last four years. There was a lot to learn about our great school division. I have really enjoyed the opportunity to meet many of the students, teachers, administrators, support staff and parents. As a parent myself I felt it was so important to be able to influence our school division’s policies and procedures as they affect my children directly. This was one of the reasons I wanted to run for school trustee. It is my firm belief that the values of our school division should reflect the values of our community.
