Parent Guardian Feedback

Exchange is now closed. Thank-you to all who participated.

Your Feedback is Important!

It is with anticipation and excitement that we are busy preparing for the Sept. 2019 opening of Niverville Middle School (Gr. 5-8) and Niverville High School (Gr. 9-12). As partners in education, we are reaching out to NCI and NES parents/guardians to gather important feedback that will assist us in our planning process.

To gather feedback we’re using Thoughtexchange, an online tool that will provide parents/guardians with an opportunity to share their thoughts as a collective voice. Participants are asked to respond to two open-ended questions, and then consider and assign stars to the ideas shared by others.

Q.1 What do you value most about our community that you’d like to see reflected in this school?

Q.2 As students prepare to transition into this school, what are your questions?

The results will assist us in identifying community-shared priorities and questions that are specific to the new schools. There are two separate conversations, one for each school. Parents/Guardians are welcome to participate in one or both.

Parents/Guardians can come back to the exchange and participate as often as they would like. In fact, we invite you to come back often to interact with new ideas that will be shared by other participants throughout the 10 days that the exchange is open.

Participation Dates

The exchange will be open for a total of 10 days, beginning on Friday Feb. 22, 2019 and ending Monday Mar. 4, 2019.

Invitation to Participate

Emails are to be sent on Friday, Feb. 22 to parents/guardians of students attending NES or NCI (primary email address on file). Included within the email are instructions, and a link to the online exchange. If you are a parent/guardian and did not receive an email invitation to participate, but would like to do so, please contact the school office and an invitation will be forwarded to you.

Upon arriving at the start page, participants are given the option of creating an account with Thoughtexchange. This step is optional, and explained on-screen.
