Dear Parents/Caregivers,
The Manitoba government has declared Sept. 26-30, 2022, as School Support Staff Recognition Week in honour of the work done every day by school support staff for Manitoba’s students in Kindergarten to Grade 12 schools. View the Official Proclamation (PDF).
School support staff work in a variety of occupations and perform a very important role in schools, in the functioning of Manitoba’s education system, and in helping keep children and the learning environment safe during this transitional phase of the COVID-19 pandemic. Support staff help schools ensure that the education our students receive is engaging and high-quality, preparing them for life-long learning.
On behalf of the Hanover School Division, I want to publicly express our gratitude to school support staff across the Division for their contribution and commitment to Hanover’s students. A heartfelt thank you to each member of our support team.
