Congratulations to NCI student Rhyanne Pauls on being named a national finalist in the 2017 Canadian Geographic Challenge. Twenty of Canada’s brightest geography students were chosen based on their scores in the Provincial/ Territorial Challenge. The top scoring student from each province/territory in Canada was selected. The remaining finalists were selected based on their score, regardless of location.
The Canadian Geographic Challenge is organized by the Royal Canadian Geographical Society. It tests students’ knowledge of both Canadian and world geography.
Finalists will be travelling to Ottawa June 3-5, 2017 to compete for the title of Canada’s top geography student. For more information on the National Final and to view all finalists, visit the Canadian Geographic website.
