Safe Environments for Children

Starting in September 2025, Hanover School Division will be transitioning from the Respect in School training to the Commit to Kids training program for all staff who interact with students.

This change reflects our ongoing commitment to child protection, safeguarding practices, and compliance with Manitoba Education and Early Childhood Learning standards.

The Commit to Kids program is a nationally recognized training resource developed by the Canadian Centre for Child Protection. It is designed to help organizations create safe environments for children. Organizations learn how to define and identify appropriate boundaries between adults and children and create safe, healthy and respectful environments.
