SRSS Students Win Gold and Bronze at Skills Canada

SRSS Students Excel at Skills Canada National Competition

Congratulations to SRSS award winners at the Skills Canada National Competition held in Edmonton this past week. Winning gold were students Henry Kasper (Car Painting) and David Messerschmidt (Autobody Repair). Bronze medal winners were students Lia Penner (IT software solutions) and Anja Taranenko (Hairstyling). The Skills Canada National Competition is the only national, multi-trade and technology competition for students and apprentices in the country. Every year, more than 500 young people from all regions of Canada attend SCNC to participate in over 40 skilled trade and technology competitions.
