Official Election Results
Steinbach, MB. October 24, 2018 – Hanover School Division is pleased to announce the official results of the School Trustee Election held on Wednesday October 24, 2018.
Three trustees were elected by acclamation prior to Election Day. Lynn Barkman and Sue Doerksen in Ward 2 North (Blumenort, Landmark, and Mitchell), and Jonathon Driedger in Ward 4 South (Grunthal).
Six trustees were elected on Election Day. Shannon Friesen and Carisa Klassen have been elected in Ward 1 West (Bothwell, Crystal Springs, Kleefeld and Niverville). Elected in Ward 3 (Steinbach) are Ron Falk, Danielle Funk, Rick Peters and Brad Unger.
Hanover School Division thanks outgoing Trustees Ruby Wiens, Cyndy Friesen, and Sarah Dyck for their years of dedicated service.
The inaugural meeting of the new Board of Trustees will occur on November 6, 2018 at 7:30 pm.
