Hon. Kelvin Goertzen, Minister of Education and Training was on hand to celebrate the completion of the new elevator at Steinbach Regional Secondary School. The regional school received provincial funding to replace their aging elevator in 2017. The elevator was completed in September 2018, and is now operational. The new elevator meets current accessible design standards, and accommodates students who require wheelchair and scooter access.
