Hiring Announcement
Steinbach, MB. May 27, 2020 – The Board of Trustees is pleased to announce the appointment of Leanne Peters, Ed.D. as Interim Assistant Superintendent of Hanover School Division, effective September 1, 2020.
Dr. Peters brings 21 years of educational administration and teaching experience to her new role in Hanover. She is currently the Assistant Superintendent, Learning and Instruction of Sunrise School Division and has held this position since 2018. Before joining the Sunrise School Division, Dr. Peters was the Assistant Superintendent, Learning Support of Lakeshore School Division (2011-2018), and served as a principal and teacher in the Rolling River School Division (2004-2011). Early in her career, she taught in the Mountain View School Division (1999-2004).
Dr. Peters completed a Master of Education in Educational Administration (2011) and a Doctor of Education in K-12 Leadership (2019). She is currently Chairperson of the Manitoba Association of School Superintendents Professional Learning Committee.
