Hiring Announcement
Steinbach, MB. March 4, 2022 – The Board of Trustees is pleased to announce the appointment of Rod Kehler to the position of Assistant Superintendent of Student Services effective August 2022.
Rod brings 29 years of administrative and teaching experience to his new position in the Hanover School Division. He has served as the interim student services administrator for the Division since September 2021. Prior to his current role, Rod served as principal at Southwood School from 2014–2021, HSD student services administrator from 2011-2014, and as principal, vice-principal, and learning support teacher at Woodlawn School from 2004-2011. His experience includes 13 years as a classroom and resource teacher, having taught at Elmdale School, Kleefeld School, Niverville High School, Southwood School, and Woodlawn School.
Rod has earned a Bachelor of Education (1993), a Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Special Education (2003), and a Master of Education in Educational Administration (2016).
The Board of Trustees congratulates Rod and wishes him all the best in his new position as Assistant Superintendent of Student Services.
