Help Keep Our Kids Safe
It’s National School Bus Safety Week! This annual designation (held the third week in Oct.) reminds all drivers to be vigilant in watching students getting on and off buses. Slow down in school zones, and stop when the red lights flash.
The week is an opportunity for students to receive school bus ridership training; for reminding parents and the motoring public to be particularly careful around school bus vehicles; and, for school divisions to examine their pupil transportation practices.
