Weather-Related Closure
Dec. 18, 2025 – Due to extreme weather and hazardous winter driving conditions, HSD schools and division offices are closed to students and staff today. All staff are expected to work from home except for those Educational Assistants who have chosen (per their collective agreement) not to opt into a work-from-home arrangement on school closure days.
To minimize the potential impact of weather-related closures on student learning, teachers will provide students with remote learning opportunities when schools are closed on such days. View details.
