Hiring Announcement
Steinbach, MB, August 18, 2026 – The Hanover School Division Board of Trustees is pleased to announce the appointment of Amanda Dent as principal of Woodlawn School, effective September 2026.
Amanda brings 23 years of education experience, including teaching, counselling, and school leadership. She is currently principal of Bothwell School, a position she has held since September 2024. Before becoming principal, Amanda served as a teacher and school counsellor at Anola School in the Sunrise School Division from 2005 to 2024. She began her teaching career with Hanover School Division at Blumenort School, where she taught from 2003 to 2005.
Amanda earned a Bachelor of Education and a Bachelor of Music from the University of Manitoba in 2003.
The Board of Trustees congratulates Amanda and wishes her all the best in her new position.
