My name is Cheryl Froese. I live near Grunthal with my husband (Jeremy) and our four children. We are actively involved in a mixed family farm where we raise beef cattle, broiler chickens and grow crops. I have served our local churches by playing piano and through years of involvement on the Community DVBS committee. I also enjoy camping with my family, watersports, curling and downhill skiing.
A love of learning is embedded in me, and I am convinced this is why I pursued a career in education. Upon graduating from Elm Creek School, I attended Bible School for two years and pursued my Bachelor of Education Degree at Brandon University. In 2001, I eagerly accepted my first teaching position in Hanover School Division. I was blessed to teach for several years before meeting my husband and starting our family. While at home with our young children, I continued to be involved in education by completing my Post Baccalaureate in Education through the University of Manitoba, volunteering with Ag in the Classroom, acting as a substitute/term teacher in our local schools and most importantly by parenting!
My primary goal as School Trustee is to serve and interact with families in our community. I am eager to learn more about Public Education while I fulfill my duties in this role!
