Trustees Select Chair and Vice-Chair for 2023-24

Steinbach, MB. Sept. 5, 2023 – The Hanover School Division Board of Trustees is pleased to announce that Brad Unger will serve as Board Chair and Jeff Friesen as Board Vice-Chair for the upcoming 2023-24 school year. As voted on by fellow trustees, the term appointments are for one year.

Brad was first elected as a trustee in 2014 and has served on the Hanover School Division Board for nine years. He was appointed Vice-Chair of the Board for the 2022-23 school year. Jeff was first elected as a trustee in 2022 and has served on the Hanover School Division Board for one year. Congratulations to both Brad and Jeff on their new appointments.

Hanover School Division would like to take this opportunity to thank Ron Falk for his many years of leadership service. Ron served as Board Chair for 11 years, from 2002-2008 and 2014-2019. He was appointed Vice-Chair for the 2019-2020 school year and Chair from 2020-2023.
