Community Feedback

In advance of our budget planning for the 2020-21 school year, we asked for your thoughts and comments regarding the allocation of financial resources in Hanover School Division. What is important to you? What priorities should guide our spending?

To gather your feedback, we used Thoughtexchange – an online tool that provides participants with the opportunity to share their thoughts as a collective voice. The survey took place Jan. 10-20, 2020. Participants were asked the following question: As we continue to plan the upcoming budget, what are some priorities we should consider?

1,247 participants shared 1,162 thoughts and assigned 70,925 stars! The Board of Trustees shared a summary of the top thoughts at the Public Budget Consultation Meeting held on Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2020.
